Begin the drawing of the alligator by drawing three shapes. First, draw an oblong oval for the body. Next, draw another oblong oval for the head. Draw a rectangle-like shape for the first part of the tail.
Begin to draw the arms next by drawing two shapes that overlap each other. Draw a shape for the second half of the alligator tail.
Now draw two ovals for the alligator hands and tringles for the claws. Draw a wavy line to indicate the mouth line. Draw an oval in the middle of the head shape. This oval will be the eye.
Use the shapes that you have drawn as a guide and finish the drawing. Draw the contour lines (outlines) and vary the thickness and thinness of the lines to add variety. Add some lines for wrinkles as well as some shadow under the alligator.
