In this step by step drawing demonstration, you will learn how to draw a wolf. Wolves are cool to draw because they are beautiful animals, yet they are a bit dangerous at the same time. Drawing wolves is really just like drawing anything else. Just break the wolf down into simple shapes. Put these shapes together and your drawing of a wolf will appear.
Step 1
Start off your drawing of a wolf by drawing two oval shapes. These shapes should overlap each other like shown in the drawing. The larger oval will be the body of the wolf and the smaller oval will be the neck of the wolf.
Step 2
Next, draw a circle at the end of the neck oval. Add a shape for the ears and add an upper snout and a lower one. Also, draw a couple of shapes for the upper parts of the legs and a line for the tail. We’ll develop the tail a bit more in a moment.
Step 3
At this stage in the drawing, you can add a couple more shapes for the other two legs. Add the eye and connect the first two ovals that we drew with a line down the back of the wolf.
Step 4
Now you can add the shapes for the lower parts of the legs on the wolf, including the paws.
Step 5
You now have enough information to finish the drawing. Be sure to draw the outline of the wolf so that it looks like fur. Darken in the nose and add a couple of fangs. Also add some lines to indicate the fur of the wolf. That’s how easy it is to draw a wolf, step by step.
