Step 1
Begin the drawing of a ladybug by drawing an oval. Next, draw a circle that overlaps the oval. The oval will be the body of the ladybug. The circle will become the head.
Step 2
Now, draw another circle that overlaps the one that you drew in the first step. Draw a line down the middle of the oval like the one in the picture. You can also draw three lines to represent the legs of the ladybug.
Step 3
In this step, you’ll want to draw some of the spots on the back of the ladybug. You can also draw an antenna or two. Add the mandible as well. You should also thicken up the legs of your ladybug.
Step 4
Now you can finish the line drawing of the ladybug. Color in the head with mostly black, but leave a couple of white areas. Color in the legs of the ladybug as well. Be sure to leave white lines around the edge to make the legs appear shiny.
Step 5
Since the look of the ladybug is dependent on color, I would recommend coloring in your ladybug with a nice red.
