There are plenty of cool vehicles, but not many have captured the imagination of people like the firetruck. Firetrucks are vehicles of adventure and heroism. Because of this many people want to know how to draw a firetruck. Just like many things, the firetruck can be simplified into shapes. Understanding how to compose these shapes will help you to draw a firetruck. So, let’s get ready to draw a firetruck.
Step 1
Firetrucks are pretty complex. You can draw anything if you just take it step by step. A firetruck is no different. The first step to drawing a firetruck is to draw a box like the one in the picture. The smaller trapazoid on the right will be the front of the firetruck.
Step 2
We will slowly be adding details to the box that you drew in order to make our firetruck look realistic. In this step draw the frame work for the windshield. Also draw two half circles for the wheel hubs. Draw a few more shapes and lines like the ones in the picture. Eventually, these will be parts on the firetruck.
Step 3
We continue with the details on the firetruck in this step of the drawing. You can make the wheel hub look more 3D by adding a side to it. You can also draw the ladder down the side of the firetruck. Don’t forget to add the shape for the lights on top of the firetruck. Your drawing should really be coming along now.
Step 4
Add more details to the drawing of the firetruck in this step. You can also define where the wheel hubcaps will be in this step of the drawing. Feel free to add more details than those that are present in the picture. This is your firetruck and you can make it any way that you want.
Step 5
Make your wheels look 3D by adding an extra side to them. Also, draw several circles around the firetruck to be lights and hose plugins.
Step 6
Now you have enough of a framework drawn to finish the drawing of a firetruck. Don’t forget to add the finishing touches and maybe a shadow underneath.
